Everybody blogged about the Rangitaiki. Heck, people are STILL blogging about the Rangitaiki. The first taste of New Zealand whitewater didn't disappoint, though it did surprise. But we'll leave that story to the blogs.

The Rangi was narrow, wonderfully warm, and bounced gleefully through the most amazing (and amazingly thick) jungle any of the guys had ever been in. It's no wonder that this hidden treasure, while fairly easy, is mentioned by all the guidebooks and locals as a "must do" run. You can see why for yourself.

We were still figuring out the "multi-shot" function on the camera, so some of the pics were a little early. Truth be told, we're STILL figuring it out. Or perhaps "we" is a little gratuitous, ICE is still figuring it out. Had he been a caveman, he'd probably have been the dude trying in vain to figure out how to use the stick.

"Hmmm...dwuuh...I eat bark, why no fly?"
